This week, our children explored the idea that with every right we have comes an important responsibility. Using the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) as our guide, we focused on three key articles: Article 16 (Right to Privacy), Article 24 (Right to Health), and Article 31 (Right to Relax, Play and Take Part in Cultural Activities). Through discussion, activities, and reflection, the children learned what these rights mean for them—and how they can help protect the rights of others.
