Water Pollution Investigation

L.I To investigate pollution at our local river
Our class took part in an exciting hands-on learning experience about water pollution. First, we explored how pollution affects rivers, wildlife, and people through a classroom lesson.
We then visited our local river to carry out real water quality tests and take part in the Great River Watch, helping scientists to monitor the health of our waterways. While we were there, we also collected litter along the riverbank, making a positive difference to our local environment.
It was a fantastic opportunity to combine science with community action and to learn how we can all help to protect our rivers.
