We thought about this important right and discussed it in class. Mrs Duford read us a story called 'The Name Jar' by Yangsook Choi.

It's the story of a girl who doesn't feel like her Korean name fits in with her friends in her new class.

She tried to find a new name for herself but in the end she realises that her name is an important part of her and who she is.

We enjoyed using our research skills to find the meaning of names.

It was very interesting and good fun.
