Industry Insight Session with Morgans Hotel

We recently held an Industry Insight session focused on the Hospitality and Tourism industry, providing students with a valuable opportunity to learn directly from professionals working in the field.
We were pleased to welcome representatives from the local hotel Morgans, who shared insights into the wide range of job roles within a hotel environment. Students learned about different departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, events, and management, as well as the roles and responsibilities associated with each area.
The session highlighted the variety of career pathways available in hospitality, the skills employers look for, and the importance of teamwork, communication, and customer service. Students also had the chance to ask questions and gain a better understanding of what a typical working day in a hotel might look like.
