Horizon Centre KS4: Summer term 2026

It has been a positive summer term in Horizon KS4, with learners making strong progress and reaching important milestones. Work centred on life skills, employability and work-related learning, and we are proud to have achieved the CWRE Quality Award.

All learners completed their courses and will leave with recognised qualifications. One has been accepted onto a college course at Llandarcy, and another has been offered a placement with a local construction company after impressing during work experience.

A highlight was Work Experience Week, when every learner took part in a placement linked to their interests. Learners also enjoyed a Firefighter for a Day experience, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and visits to Neath College Group to prepare for their next steps.
