Summer term 2026 in the Learning Support Centre

It has been a busy summer term in the Learning Support Centre. Learners explored the enquiry question, "How would you change our world?", sharing ideas and presenting their thinking to the class with real confidence.

They designed and made a healthy meal in food and nutrition, built athletic skills in PE and made good progress in reading. Trips included Folly Farm, mountain biking at Afan Forest Park and distance swimming at the Afan Valley pool, where several learners earned certificates.

Two learners are moving on at the end of term. Staff have worked closely with their receiving school to support a smooth transition.
