Dear Parents and Carers,

As we approach the end of term and the summer holidays, many families may be thinking about the cost of school uniforms and equipment for September.

The School Essentials Grant is now open and may provide financial support for eligible families with children from Reception to Year 11 who are on lower incomes and receive certain benefits.

You can check if you are eligible and apply using the Welsh Government website:

Please note that even if your child receives Universal Primary Free School Meals, you will still need to check your eligibility separately to access the School Essentials Grant.
