At Ysgol Hendrefelin, we encourage families to help learners develop their Welsh language skills beyond the classroom. Using simple Welsh words and phrases at home, such as bore da (good morning), diolch (thank you) and sut wyt ti? (how are you?), can help build confidence and familiarity with the language in a natural and enjoyable way.

You do not need to be fluent in Welsh to make a difference. Every little bit of Welsh used at home supports your child's learning and helps them appreciate Wales's rich language and culture.
