On Wednesday, 26th November, we proudly celebrated the achievements of a group of our Year 11 pupils who successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award last July while in Year 10. These dedicated students were presented with their official Certificates and Bronze badges by Councillor Nia Jenkins during a special presentation evening.

To earn this prestigious award, the pupils completed all four sections of the programme: Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and Expedition.  The effort they put in really shows the resilience and teamwork that the Duke of Edinburgh Award is all about.

To top it off, the evening was made even better as we were joined by a former pupil, Harvey, who received his Silver Award. He completed this level alongside Shane and Jess last June when they were in Year 11. Although Shane and Jess were unable to attend the presentation, their hard work and success were acknowledged and celebrated.

A huge well done to all the pupils for their outstanding achievements! Your dedication and determination are an inspiration to the entire school community.
